About Ming-Mei Sheeh Ming-Mei Sheeh was born and raised in Taiwan. She has lived in the Bay Area since 1987, after immigrated to US. She has a degree in interior design and is an IC layout engineer. She devotes most of her leisure time in oil painting and art. Her various interests in art include: paper clay, mixed media, and sketching. She mainly focuses on oil painting, which she started about seven years ago. Her style has been inspired by the beautiful local landscapes, the abundance of flowers, and the diversity of cultures and people. She really enjoys California's nature and paints her pictures from that. Her works reflect the peace she finds in her surroundings and within.
