About Kin Hsieh: A Housewife Artist Kin Hsieh and her family immigrated to San Francisco in the 80s. Kin's childhood was surrounded with the fond memory that she often accompanied her beloved mother in manually weaving cloth. She learned how to compose patterns and blend colors by this unique experience. Later on, as an adult, Kin studied Fine and Delicate Drawing skills in Chinese painting from her teacher. She was then learned the beauty of gentle line streaks. Kin attended community college after she was in the States. She majored in Sketch and Water Color. Life was busy and cozy. Kin devoted most of her time with her children and family. She was delighted to be able to pick up the minimum leisure time to do her painting. The kitchen table was usually became her working room. The orchids by the kitchen windows, the lively peonies and roses in the back yard, her charming cat, loyal dog, and gold fish, even the surrounding scenery all caught her heart and were translated into beautiful artworks.
